Job Summary

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Camp Security Officer to join our team. As a Camp Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our camp and its personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the camp perimeter and interior to detect and deter potential security threats.
  • Verify the identity of all personnel and vehicles entering the camp through access control checks.
  • Conduct inspections and searches of personnel, vehicles, and equipment to ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Enforce traffic regulations and control traffic flow within the camp.
  • Respond to security incidents and emergencies, and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Collect and analyze security statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
  • Physical ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
  • Ability to interact with team members, clients, and emergency services.
  • Basic proficiency with technology, including writing reports and communicating via two-way radio.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CSTS 2020, PCST, or OFA1 certification.
