About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Bombardier. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for defining and implementing efficient production processes and layouts to meet our manufacturing goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define floor plans for production assembly lines to optimize workflow and productivity
  • Analyze aircraft flow, parts, equipment, and manpower to identify areas for improvement
  • Participate in improvement projects (Kaizen) to drive continuous process improvement
  • Establish detailed manpower requirements, including work centers, crew types, and shifts
  • Determine production capacity, including manpower and equipment needs
  • Produce daily production schedules and charts to ensure smooth operations
  • Collect, document, and maintain manufacturing data, including loads, capacity, equipment, and footprint
  • Participate in analyzing and establishing production standard times
  • Develop detailed value stream mappings to optimize production processes
Requirements
  • College or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong logical and mechanical skills
  • Ability to simplify complex tasks and processes
  • Organized, rigorous, and autonomous with a strong work ethic
  • Team player with leadership, patience, perseverance, curiosity, and a willingness to take on challenges
  • Proficient in Excel and MS Project
  • Familiarity with the aerospace industry and furniture manufacturing (an asset)
  • Communication skills in French and English (an asset)
