About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our restaurants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards that our customers expect from us.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive excellent service.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that all shifts are covered and that staff are able to take breaks and time off as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Language: English.
