Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Worker to join our team at Siegbert Steel Inc. As a Metal Fabrication Worker, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, assisting structural steel and platework fitters, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions to ensure thorough cleaning.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, and metal machine operators in their tasks.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Read and interpret work orders to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
