Aviation Infrastructure Co-op Student Opportunity

Hatch is seeking a dynamic and motivated Civil Engineering student to join our Aviation Group as a co-op student. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the design and development of aviation infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with project engineers and designers to develop design deliverables.
  • Apply knowledge of aviation and airport environment standards.
  • Use relevant software such as MicroStation, AutoCAD, and DIALux.
  • Assist with power system modeling and design.
  • Support design and layout of airfield infrastructure, utility routing, and general civil engineering.
  • Conduct desk studies, survey data review, and design assignments.
  • Provide on-site field reviews for airport infrastructure projects.
Qualifications:
  • A 4th year student currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering co-op program.
  • In good academic standing.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
  • Desire to learn large airfield design projects.
  • Self-motivated with good organizational capability.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
