About the Opportunity:

Lambton College of Applied Arts & Technology invites applications from qualified and passionate individuals interested in teaching Full Stack Development. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive teaching and learning environment, preparing and/or updating lesson plans, and providing course instruction in-person or online.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Prepare and update lesson plans to meet the needs of students
• Provide course instruction in-person or online, utilizing a variety of teaching methods
• Prepare and grade student assessments, providing detailed feedback
• Communicate with students in a timely and effective manner
• Follow the Academic Calendar and the policies and procedures of the college

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in computer studies
• Work/industry experience in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Teaching experience is an asset
Applicants must possess strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff. The successful candidate will be a team player with a student-centered teaching philosophy. Location:

The Lambton College Centre for Graduate Studies is located in Ottawa, Ontario, on the traditional unceded territory of the Anishinabeg (Algonquin) people. We acknowledge the Anishinabeg, the First Peoples of the lands and waters of the Kichi Sibi (Ottawa River Valley) from time immemorial.
