Assistant or Associate Professor of Nursing

The School of Nursing at Dalhousie University invites applications for a full-time, two-year limited term faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, specializing in mental health and addictions.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified candidate to join our faculty and contribute to the development of our undergraduate and graduate programs in mental health and addictions.
The successful candidate will be required to teach undergraduate students and may teach and/or mentor/advise graduate students. The teaching assignments will include teaching in mental health and addictions as well as courses to reflect the expertise of the successful candidate within the needs of the School.
Applicants must hold a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, and a Master's degree in Nursing and/or another health discipline. PhD preparation is an asset. A combination of four to five years' clinical and teaching experience in mental health and addictions is required. Applicants must be eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing.
Applications from interested individuals will be considered for a 1.0 FTE limited term teaching appointment at the rank of Assistant, or Associate, Professor for two years effective July 1, 2025, or earlier as negotiated.
