Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to join our team as a Professor of Nursing in the School of Nursing, Faculty of Health at Dalhousie University.

About the Position

This is a full-time, 3-year limited term faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, specializing in Older Adult Care including Cancer Care.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and/or graduate students in Older Adult Care including Cancer Care
  • Mentor and advise graduate students
  • Develop and implement curriculum in Older Adult Care including Cancer Care
  • Contribute to the development of the School's Strategic Plan
Requirements

Applicants must hold a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, a Master's degree in Nursing and/or another health discipline, and a PhD prepared an asset. A combination of four to five years' clinical and teaching experience in Older Adult Care including Cancer Care is required. Applicants must be eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing.
