Health Sciences Centre is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our critical care unit.
Reporting to the Patient Care Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive nursing services to patients with complex health needs. Your responsibilities will encompass independent nursing duties, administration of medical treatments, and leadership in coordinating patient care.
- Essential Duties:
- Provide professional nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations accurately.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment options.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nursing diploma from an accredited program.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.
- Recent experience in an intensive care unit setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, ethics, and protocols.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
