Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing brand segments and formulating growth strategies.
- Establishing product pricing for the Canadian market.
- Developing and implementing product go-to-market strategies.
- Conducting analyses of sales, profitability, and competitive landscape.
- Managing inventory levels effectively.
- Overseeing the product lifecycle from SKU creation to product launch and retirement.
- Cultivating strong supplier relationships and ensuring open communication.
- Collaborating with sales representatives and suppliers.
- Providing insights into product applications, competitive dynamics, and industry trends.
- Coordinating marketing and communication initiatives.
- Managing social media channels, digital content, and e-commerce strategies.
- Assisting in the organization of trade shows, special events, and promotional activities.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of marketing experience, including brand management and product marketing.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the entertainment lighting sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in marketing technical products.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions.
- Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
- Proficiency in analyzing sales and financial data.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, lead generation, and content creation.
- In-depth knowledge of automated lighting in entertainment, theater, and architectural lighting sectors.
- Familiarity with the national lighting market structure – rentals, integration, retail.
- Strong understanding of technologies such as LED, optics, video, and control protocols.
- Strategic insight into the DJ retail lighting market.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Commerce degree or similar qualification is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively under pressure.
- Creative, organized, with sound judgment, results-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of MS Office and JD Edwards/E1 is a plus.
- Fully bilingual (written and verbal) in French and English.
