Job Title: Stonemason

We are seeking a skilled Stonemason to join our team at S.P.R. Masonry Inc.

Job Summary

The Stonemason will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating structures using stone, brick, and other masonry materials. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work at heights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units
  • Lay bricks and stone to provide veneer facing
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
  • Lay bricks or other masonry units to build chimneys and fireplaces
  • Restore, clean, or paint existing masonry structures
Work Environment

The Stonemason will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, and will be required to lift heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding role
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
