About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at London Drugs. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Processing: Accurately process prescriptions, ensuring all necessary information is complete and up-to-date.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of medications and pharmaceutical products, including ordering and stocking.
  • Client Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support to Pharmacists: Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including preparing medications, labeling, and packaging.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, such as data entry, billing, and scheduling appointments.
Work Environment

As a Pharmacy Assistant at London Drugs, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, interpersonal awareness, organized, team player, flexibility, and initiative.
