About the Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of our clients. Your responsibilities will include assisting individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care and hygiene, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and creating activity plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks such as toileting, bathing, feeding, and light housekeeping
  • Provide social/emotional support to clients and their families
  • Accompany clients and assist them with walking, exercise, and mobility
  • Maintain complete and confidential information for each individual supported
Requirements
  • Must have either a Personal Support Worker (PSW) Certificate or Nursing students, or International Educated Nurses or Health Care Aid
  • Previous hands-on experience providing personal care to clients is preferred
  • Must have a recent Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certificate is considered an asset
