Analog IC Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Analog / Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join our team at Lightmatter. As a key member of our design engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development of complex analog and mixed-signal circuits.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in architecture development with our chip architects to lead feasibility studies
- Collaborate with other design engineering teams to translate system-level requirements into electrical design specifications
- Lead the analog design and top-level integration of integrated circuits development
- Design complex analog and mixed-signal circuits
- Create technical reports and design specifications documents
- Plan DFT strategy and support its design implementation
- Oversee the performance validation of the analog circuits in the lab
- Support production test development and ramp to production
- Mentor junior engineers
- MS with 8+ years of relevant experience, OR Ph.D. with 5+ years of experience
- 3+ years of experience in the Semiconductor industry experience in Analog/Mixed-signal IC design
- Solid fundamentals of CMOS device characteristics, noise, mismatch, linearity, and design trade-offs
- Experience designing complex blocks such as data converters, control-loop circuits used in power-delivery, high-speed interface circuits
- Experience in advanced FinFET process nodes is a plus
- Experience with Cadence Design Environment
- Hands-on experience in the lab with silicon evaluation and validation
- Ability to work collaboratively with people across multiple functional areas
- Explains advanced concepts and understands how those concepts relate to other disciplines
- Works in projects at all levels of the organization and serves as an external spokesperson
