About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Professional to join our team at Superior Line Electrical Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Maintain Electrical Systems: Ensure the safe and efficient installation of electrical controls and panel boxes, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
  • Repair and Replace Electrical Components: Troubleshoot and repair electrical controls and panel boxes, and replace them as needed to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Document and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including reports and documentation of electrical system performance.
  • Wire Splicing and Connection: Splice, join, and connect wires to ensure reliable electrical connections.
  • Training and Supervision: Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Cost Estimation and Materials Management: Estimate costs and materials required for electrical installations and maintenance activities.
  • Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate electrical system design and installation.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electrical installation and maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
