About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team at S Bachan Construction Ltd. as an Electrician Assistant. This is a permanent position that requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients and colleagues, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience.
  • Electrical Installation: Install underground wiring and cables, splice, join, and connect wires, and test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity.
  • Maintenance and Documentation: Keep accurate maintenance reports and documentation, and estimate costs and materials for electrical projects.
  • Renovation and Repair: Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures, and troubleshoot and isolate faults.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate electrical installations.
Work Environment

This is an on-the-road job that requires working in various locations, including construction sites and commercial properties. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The typical work hours are 30 to 40 hours per week.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in electrical installation and maintenance
