Job Title: Apprentice Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team at S Bachan Construction Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in a dynamic and growing company.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation of underground wiring and cables
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems
  • Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults
  • Splice, join, and connect wires
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications
  • Estimate costs and materials for electrical projects
  • Collaborate with experienced electricians to complete tasks efficiently
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in electrical work
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
Work Environment

This is a permanent, on-the-road job with a 30-40 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in various locations, including construction sites and commercial buildings.
