The role of the Food Service Supervisor at Carl's Junior involves overseeing the daily operations within our food service environment. This position is essential for ensuring that our culinary team meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
This position is based in a dynamic food service establishment, including:
- Fast food outlets
- Restaurants
- On-site customer service areas
- Develop and implement effective methods to achieve work schedules.
- Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Recruit and hire food service personnel.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Compile and submit operational reports.
- Prepare food order summaries for the culinary team.
- Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary offerings.
- Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
- Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- This is a permanent position.
- Work language: English.
- Expected working hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
