Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the execution of medium to large-scale projects and compliance with plans and specifications
  • Ensure the respect of client health and safety rules by contractors
  • Determine project costs in accordance with standardized methods and established plans and specifications
  • Write site notes and letters to contractors to enforce contractual clauses
  • Take necessary measures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations or written directives related to the project
  • Monitor contractor annotation of plans for production of plans as required
  • Monitor project schedules and attend site meetings
  • Verify project progress according to plans and specifications
  • Contribute to technical problem-solving and provide expertise on plan and specification interpretation
  • Analyze and negotiate price changes with contractors
  • Perform all other related tasks that may help achieve the project
  • Perform other related tasks including administrative tasks
Required Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in building engineering or civil engineering with a specialization in structure or college diploma in civil engineering
  • Member of the Order of Engineers of Quebec (an asset)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Fluency in French, both written and spoken
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
