About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our New Product Development (NPD) team at BRP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the early stages of product development, including building visual instructions, reviewing sequences, and identifying non-functional manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacturing Architecture: Responsible for the manufacturer's requirements, including function cutting and process cutting.
  • Sequence Validation: Responsible for validating sequences in the P1 and P3 phases, ensuring ergonomic and health and safety standards are met.
  • DFX and PFMEA: Supports the Design for Excellence (DFX) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) processes, including workshops and preliminary layout.
  • NPD Governance: Contributes to NPD governance with the Project Leader, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Risk Assessment: Responsible for risk assessment related to main functions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Language: English and French, with English being essential for communication with peers in Mexico.
  • Skills: Good command of Google Suite, Catia, 3DVIA, and SAP.
  • Personal Qualities: Ability to work in harmony with coworkers, openness to other cultures.
