Industrial Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team at BRP. As an Industrial Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting production and optimizing processes to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Industrial Engineering Team Leader to provide production support and implement industrial engineering concepts.
  • Coach internal customers on Lean strategies and act as a change agent to drive process improvements.
  • Establish assembly routings and determine optimal sequences of operations to maximize efficiency.
  • Develop and implement specific work instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Lead kaizen workshops to optimize plants and introduce new models, driving innovation and growth.
  • Design and implement links between tools and computer systems to guide operators' work and improve productivity.
  • Establish operator assistance and training programs to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with upstream engineering to standardize procedures and optimize production processes.
  • Analyze and evaluate workstation variants to minimize them and improve efficiency.
  • Participate in PFMEA to identify and mitigate risks and improve quality.
  • Determine standard production times using AVIX software to optimize production planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
  • Relevant experience in industrial engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • High proficiency in diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
  • Knowledge of CATIA, 3DVIA, and SAP software.
  • Proficiency in industrial engineering techniques and value-added concepts.
  • Ability to conduct time and motion studies to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Strong analysis and synthesis skills, with independence to work effectively.
  • Fluent level in French is essential, with ability to communicate in English for collaboration with suppliers and other BRP sites.
  • Availability for day shift or occasional evening shift teams, as needed.
