Select People Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled 5th Class Power Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of various mechanical systems and equipment within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and operate equipment such as boilers, pumps, and dryer systems to ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials and products as required.
- Stack and organize materials neatly to maximize storage space and facilitate inventory management.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks such as picking orders, packing products, and conducting inventory counts as required.
- Valid 5th Class Power Engineering Certification (4th class certification considered an asset)
- Steel-Toed Boots
- Ability to lift over 20kg
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to relevant regulations and procedures.
- Experience operating a forklift
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Experience in Process Operations
