About the Role
Aon is seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Configuration Specialist to join our implementation team within pension administration. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with internal teams to implement and support solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Review analysis documents and configure the system to fix system defects or complete client requests/changes.
- Complete unit testing to ensure no major defects are in the calculated results and determine if the configuration performs accurately, reflects requirements, and has zero negative impact on existing provisions.
- Document defects when actual results do not meet expected results.
- Analyze issues/defects and debug the system when the configuration is not producing the expected results.
- Resolve issues with test cases or with configuration and re-test. Raise issues as appropriate.
- Coordinate, manage, and monitor activities related to system maintenance.
- Lead all aspects of day-to-day work per priorities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, math, or equivalent work experience in an analytical area.
- Pension work experience.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word).
- Troubleshoot basic system defects and errors.
- Ability to interpret and understand requirements documentation.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Understand basic relational database concepts (e.g., table relationships, keys).
- Keen attention to detail.
- Bilingualism (English and French), highly desired.
