About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dental Technician Assistant to join our team at A&P Dental Lab. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our dental technicians in the creation of high-quality dental prosthetics.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Key Tasks:
    • Prepare plaster models and moulds for dental prosthetics.
    • Cast gold or metal alloys for bridges and denture bases.
    • Mould wax over dentures set-up.
    • Finish metal framework of dentures.
    • Prepare wax bite-blocks and impression trays.
    • Pack plastic material in moulds to form full or partial dentures.
    • Make orthodontic bands from metal and alloys.
