About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Pro Vita Care Management in Agassiz. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through attentive and personalized care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe, monitor, and document residents' physical and psychological conditions
- Provide and assist with personal care to residents as required
- Ensure adherence to infection control practices
- Assess resident health status, including differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings, recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, and differentiating between dementia and delirium
Requirements:
- Graduation from a recognized Practical Nursing program
- Active registration with the BCCNM as an LPN
- Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification
- Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
- Effective communication skills in English
