Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Greenhouse Worker to join our team at 1808278 Ontario Inc. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the health and productivity of our greenhouse crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and harvest horticultural crops, including cucumbers, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform greenhouse cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts from plants to promote healthy growth.
  • Tie and secure plants to support their growth and prevent damage.
  • Clean and maintain the work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Work Environment

As a Greenhouse Worker, you will be working in a rural area, at heights, and in a hot environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel to perform tasks.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
Work Term and Hours

This is a permanent position, and you will be required to work 40 to 60 hours per week. The work language is English.
