About the Role

Asees Junk Removal Ltd. is seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our team as a General Labourer. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our work sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Maintain Public Spaces: Ensure that sidewalks, streets, roads, and public grounds are clean and well-maintained.
  • Assist in Snow and Ice Control: Spread sand or salt on sidewalks to prevent slipping and falling.
  • Dig and Trench: Dig ditches and trenches as required for our operations.
  • Collect and Load Refuse: Collect and load refuse on garbage trucks to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Assist Equipment Operators: Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or trucks.
  • Maintain Equipment: Assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Assist Skilled Tradespersons: Assist skilled tradespersons with their tasks and projects.
  • Shovel and Spread Materials: Shovel cement and other materials into cement mixers, spread concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes, and hand tampers.
  • Sweep and Remove Debris: Sweep debris and remove snow from streets, sidewalks, building grounds, and other areas, and load snow and debris into carts or trucks.

  • Team Player: As a member of our operations team, you will be working closely with other staff members to achieve our goals.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
