About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Delta Cedar Saw Mill LP. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in our carpentry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for carpentry projects.
  • Carpentry Work: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality carpentry products.
  • Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and meeting client expectations.
  • Team Leadership: Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Cost Management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring that we stay within budget.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
