Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Director, Corporate Asset Management and Strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our global transfer pricing framework, as well as managing a team of professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive global transfer pricing framework that aligns with Scotiabank's business objectives and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead a team of professionals to ensure the effective implementation of the transfer pricing framework and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and tools to support transfer pricing analysis and reporting.
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, regulatory bodies, and external partners.
    • Communicate transfer pricing strategies and results to stakeholders, including business leaders and regulatory bodies.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the effective management of transfer pricing activities.
    • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the effective management of transfer pricing activities.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in transfer pricing, finance, or a related field.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of transfer pricing regulations and frameworks.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead and manage a team of professionals.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
