About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Partner to join our Partnerships Department at Narcity Media Group. As a Client Partner, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth within your assigned territory, cultivating and strengthening relationships with existing clients, and forging new partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development and Client Relationship Management: Identify and qualify new business opportunities to develop relationships with mid-large advertiser organizations, including agencies. Manage and sustain long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients by identifying net new revenue opportunities, and growing revenue from existing advertisers.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Take Narcity to market, educating prospective clients on how Narcity can provide advertising solutions to meet their marketing objectives. Create tailored campaign strategies that align with client objectives. Identify and pursue upselling opportunities to enhance revenue. Manage client accounts proactively, respond to challenging requests, and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Performance Tracking: Develop a strategy for long-term sustained success within your territory. Utilize sales CRM tools to progress the book of business, forecasting goals accurately.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Lead account strategy within your team pod to generate business growth, working collaboratively with Account Managers to service and grow your client base and all associated revenue. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless processes - from strategic pitch development to campaign execution. Oversee campaign delivery to ensure client satisfaction and retention by delivering data-driven insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Experience in building a book of business, ensuring the management and fulfillment of strategic goals, and developing associated agreements.
  • Experience in educating new advertisers on the benefits of transitioning from traditional media to digital marketing strategies.
  • French is a must-have. Location preferred: Montreal or Quebec facilitating client visits.
  • Proven experience in media sales, particularly within digital platforms.
  • Strong understanding of client management and digital marketing strategies.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and digital analytics tools is preferred.
