Educational Requirements- Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Restaurant setting.
- Willingness to relocate is preferred.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Prepare special meals as directed by dietitians or chefs.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas for compliance.
- Train kitchen staff in food preparation and safety.
- Order and manage supplies and kitchen equipment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and assistants.
- Maintain accurate inventory and records of food and supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
- Recruit and hire kitchen personnel.
- Organize and manage buffets and banquets.
- Oversee kitchen operations efficiently.
- General cooking staff supervision.
- Safe Food Handling certificate is required.
