Wholesale Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team at Lucky Supply Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing and managing merchandise for our wholesale establishment.
Key Responsibilities- Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
- Product Sourcing: Identify and select high-quality products that meet our customers' requirements and align with our business goals.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, competitive pricing, and excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise to ensure accurate inventory levels and efficient stock rotation.
- Financial Management: Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to optimize our purchasing budget.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior buyers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as business or supply chain management.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in wholesale buying, procurement, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail. They will be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
