Food Service Team Leader

As a Food Service Team Leader at Sushi Wood, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment. Your leadership will ensure that our staff delivers exceptional service and maintains high standards of food quality.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
- Training: Provide comprehensive training to new employees on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols.
- Inventory Management: Estimate and manage the ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation, ensuring optimal stock levels.
- Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for food service personnel to build a strong team.
- Customer Relations: Address and resolve any customer complaints or concerns to enhance their dining experience.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste to support operational efficiency.
- Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry is preferred.
Work EnvironmentThis is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 30 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work is English.
