Position Overview

The Electric Motor Systems Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing electric motor systems to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a related field
Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and monitor the electrical and mechanical conditions of equipment.
  • Replace or refurbish components such as shafts, bearings, and commutators.
  • Utilize welding or brazing techniques for component assembly.
  • Conduct static or dynamic balancing of armatures or rotors.
  • Test repaired motors, transformers, switchgear, and other electrical devices to verify functionality.
Safety and Security
  • Must be bondable.
