Job Summary

The IT Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the business units at Regency Fireplace Products by developing solutions that meet their needs from a business systems perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain professionalism and adhere to the company's mission and guiding principles.
  2. Follow all Health & Safety programs and actively participate in Health & Safety training.
  3. Contribute to a positive work environment by focusing on Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  4. Coordinate and collaborate with various departments to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  5. Communicate regularly with business stakeholders and IT leadership to translate business requirements to project scope.
  6. Maintain and communicate accurate business documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  7. Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.
  8. Analyze existing systems and processes for opportunities to improve usability, stability, security, and functionality.
  9. Build consensus and facilitate dialog with stakeholders throughout the organization.
  10. Construct work and process flow charts and diagrams, study system capabilities, and write functional requirements.
  11. Provide user support for existing business systems and escalate to external support where required.
Requirements
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  2. Strong analytical and business processing skills.
  3. Strong listening and customer-facing consulting skills.
  4. Strong problem-solving, project management, and change management skills.
  5. Experience using Epicor 11/Kinetic in a manufacturing environment.
  6. Experience using technologies such as Docuware, Microsoft Office Suite would be an asset.
  7. Must be well-organized with exceptional follow-through skills.
  8. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  9. Highly motivated with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
  10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with persons at all levels.
  11. Must possess superior time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience
  1. College Diploma or post-secondary education in Computer Sciences/Information Technology; or minimum of five (5) years related experience and/or training; or
  2. Equivalent combination of education and experience.
