Position Summary: We are seeking skilled Mark IV Tamper Operators across Canada. This role involves travel to various locations within your province and potentially other regions in the country.
Job Type: Full-time, Seasonal
Key Responsibilities:
- Exhibit expertise in all facets of Tamper and Regulator operations, including track alignment and inspection.
- Conduct mechanical and safety inspections as necessary and perform required maintenance and repairs.
- Handle various administrative duties related to production reporting, timekeeping, and more.
- Engage in general labor alongside the crew as needed.
- Ensure adherence to all REMCAN and client safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the railway industry.
- At least 1 year of experience operating a Mark IV Tamper.
- Ability to pass all required railway operating rules examinations.
- Capability to obtain eRailSafe Canada certification.
- Pass a pre-employment medical examination, including drug and alcohol screening.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and nights.
- Ability to work in diverse weather conditions year-round.
- Basic computer skills are essential.
- First Aid and WHMIS certifications are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel to remote work sites as necessary.
