Job Title: Underground Mine Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Underground Mine Supervisor to join our team at Impala Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the underground workforce, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and meeting daily production plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the underground workforce to achieve daily production targets
- Monitor and enforce company safety procedures and regulations
- Ensure compliance with Ontario Mines regulations and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Prepare and submit daily reports
- Oversee drilling and blasting operations
- Identify training needs and provide training to employees
Requirements:
- Five years of hard rock mining experience at a supervisory level, preferably in blast-hole/long-hole applications
- Basic Ontario Hard Rock Common Core and Ontario Supervisory Common Core certifications
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel)
- Working experience with Avanti Payroll software or similar payroll applications
