Job Summary

The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director, Asset Management. This position is a key provincial leadership role that requires collaboration with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans for major procurement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement short and long-term sourcing plans for major procurement initiatives
  • Participate in contracting initiatives and provide operational leadership in the development, planning, and execution of plans
  • Provide leadership to multiple overlapping engagement initiatives for strategic contracting initiatives, projects with significant clinical complexity, and wide stakeholder groups
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience for 1 year of education
  • Experience in health care procurement and supply chain
  • Experience leading and implementing major projects, including facilitating large group meetings with diverse stakeholders
  • Knowledge of clinical products, market strategies, and understanding of local, national, and global supply chain issues
  • Experience leading a team/supervising
