Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain high-quality food and service standards.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, cost estimates, and financial reports to optimize food service operations.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless food delivery.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to maintain high-quality service standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position, working 35 to 44 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Standing for extended periods is required.
