Job Title: General Practitioner, Red Fish Healing Centre

Job Summary:

The General Practitioner will work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to effectively plan and manage care of clients to facilitate their recovery and rehabilitation during their stay in program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to plan and manage care of clients
  • Facilitate recovery and rehabilitation of clients during their stay in program
  • Use expertise and background in treating complex clinical problems
  • Support ongoing education of team members
  • Further overall health of population within the province of British Columbia

Requirements:

  • Eligible for provisional or full licensure with CPSBC
  • Fellowship with the College of Family Physicians, or equivalent, is mandatory
  • Experience in addiction medicine is desirable
  • Participate in on-call schedule
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Demonstrated trauma-informed approach in clinical work and professional relationships
