Job Overview:
As a Culinary Service Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service team. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about food quality and customer satisfaction.
Location: Sydney, NS
Salary: $15.20 per hour / 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time (Day, Evening, Weekend)
Key Responsibilities:
Your main duties will include:
- Developing strategies to meet work schedules effectively.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Training team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimating and ordering necessary ingredients and supplies.
- Recruiting food service personnel.
- Ensuring adherence to food service standards and quality control measures.
- Preparing budgets and cost estimates for food service operations.
- Addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Preparing and submitting relevant reports.
- Overseeing the assembly of food trays.
- Creating and managing work schedules for staff.
