Retail Store Manager

PETRO CANADA is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our retail team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
