Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at MAPLE Convenience store. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and train sales staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure efficient store operations.
- Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
- Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Sell merchandise and promote products to customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of sales staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Reliability and dependability.
- Initiative and a willingness to learn.
- Non-smoking environment.
- Air-conditioned store.
- Vape shop and retail business setting.
- Free parking available.
- Permanent work term.
- English language required.
- 33 hours per week.
