About the Role
MRT is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift or electric pallet truck to load and unload merchandise
- Secure and verify the securing of merchandise
- Load merchandise into trailers in the correct order, maximizing space and efficiency
- Comply with safety procedures, quality, and productivity standards
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Forklift driver card
- Knowledge of Law 430
- Experience in a transport company (an asset)
- Motivated by teamwork and enjoy challenges
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in a variable temperature environment
- Ability to work efficiently and quickly to meet daily requirements
- Logical and analytical mind
