Job Summary

O&B Management Inc is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team. As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including financial record-keeping, data entry, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial data into our accounting software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including corporate and personal tax returns.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Language: English or French.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced office environment.
  • Hours of Work: 40 to 44 hours per week.
  • Travel: Willing to travel as required.
