Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Watch:
    • Monitor and track legislative and regulatory developments relevant to each customer, ensuring timely identification of potential risks and opportunities.
    • Analyze the impact of these developments on our activities, providing strategic recommendations to ensure compliance.
    • Implement internal communication mechanisms to ensure seamless compliance across the organization.
  • Contract Review:
    • Review customer contracts to identify compliance obligations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.
    • Work with legal teams to negotiate compliance clauses where necessary, ensuring effective risk management.
    • Ensure contractual commitments are respected, maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  • Data Protection Management:
    • Develop and implement a data protection management framework compliant with regulations, ensuring the highest standards of data security.
    • Oversee the collection, storage, and processing of personal data in accordance with legal requirements, maintaining transparency and accountability.
    • Respond to customer queries on data protection issues, providing clear and concise information.
    • Manage data protection-related compliance for customers located outside the EU, taking into account the legal requirements specific to these regions.

  • Reporting and Communication:
    • Prepare compliance reports for management and customers, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent, with a strong foundation in data protection and compliance.
  • 4-8 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in the electronic payment industry, with a deep understanding of the associated regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with local regulations and international standards, including GDPR and other relevant frameworks.
  • Organizational experience, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
  • Understanding of the banking business, with a strong appreciation for the importance of data protection.
  • Knowledge of data protection and compliance, with a focus on proactive risk mitigation.
