About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Service Supervisor to join our team at ABS Truck and Trailers Parts Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our parts service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports on parts inventory, maintenance schedules, and other relevant metrics.
  • Maintenance and Repair Coordination
    • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Technical Guidance and Training
    • Provide technical advice and guidance to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Work Scheduling and Coordination
    • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
    • Co-ordinate and assign tasks to team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Inventory Management
    • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Personal Qualities
    • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. They will be expected to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in their work.
