Multimatic Inc. is in search of Automotive Finishing Specialists (No License Required) who will be tasked with the precise preparation of carbon fiber and fiberglass components, as well as the application of premium primer and paint finishes.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience with high-performance vehicles and cutting-edge automotive technology, particularly those with a strong passion for the automotive field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain organization and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Apply coatings to composite materials utilizing various spraying techniques.
- Prepare surfaces for coating applications through diverse preparation methods.
- Conduct spot repairs on components using different spray techniques.
- Ensure the upkeep of shop tools and equipment, including the spray area.
- Mix, apply, and verify coatings to achieve color accuracy.
- Mask designated areas as necessary.
- Inspect components throughout various processing stages.
- Follow established work instructions and quality assurance procedures.
- Utilize body repair materials and techniques suitable for composite components.
- Collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
- Uphold Multimatic's commitment to quality and a positive work culture.
Training will be provided as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive body finishing and repair.
- Familiarity with spot repair techniques using airbrush or spray gun.
- Experience in color matching processes.
- Proficiency in painting multi-tone graphics across various panels.
- Ability to interpret basic work instructions and adhere to mixing ratios.
- Capability to work independently while delivering high-quality results.
- Understanding of composite component construction is advantageous.
- Experience in manufacturing settings is a plus.
