Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Transport Driver to join our team at Seta Transport Services Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Logistics and Operations: Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo by tarping and securing it properly.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Documentation Knowledge: Familiarity with accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English.
