Position Overview

The Faculty of Education is inviting applications for the role of Educational Consultant. In this capacity, you will oversee Professional Semester students engaged in the teacher education curriculum. The duration of the practicum varies, and travel across Southern Alberta is a requirement.

We welcome applications from qualified individuals, including retired K-12 educators and administrators. Candidates with specialized knowledge in various school curriculum areas are particularly encouraged to apply.

Compensation is determined on a per-student basis, with specific rates established for different practicum levels.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education and valid Professional Teaching Certification
  • Commitment to teacher training and development
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in curriculum design and contemporary educational methodologies
  • Prior experience in university field experience programs is advantageous
